初代忠吉の子で2代目となる近江大掾忠広の作。
忠広は１９歳で跡を継いで、その若さで家門を守り、有名な刀匠として当時から名をはせた。
寛永十八年（１６４１年）には近江大掾を受領。肥前刀の名を世に高らしめ、８０歳でこの世を去る。
This sword was made by Tadahiro, the second head of the family and son of the first Tadayoshi.
Tadahiro succeeded his father at the age of 19, upholding the family name at a young age and becoming a master swordsmith.
In 1641, he was appointed Omi Taijo, and made the name of Hizen swords known throughout the world. He passed away at the age of 80.
